i like how both the video and description of the ‘perennial land’ were laid out perfectly. in the video, they provided statistics on how nature is deteriorating and how we’re hurting nature and we don’t realize that. i like how the installation gives a kaleidoscope-like scene, you’re actually looking up at the nature that surrounds you. it also explores the complex relationship between nature, culture, and environmental justice. combining visual poetry, cutting-edge technology, and data-driven storytelling, the piece creates an immersive experience that invites audiences to reflect on their role in addressing climate change.
